The UIC Pavilion is located on the west side of Chicago, Illinois near the famous "Loop". As part of the University of Illinois system, the University of Illinois Chicago is the largest having an enrollment over 28,000 students. The UIC Pavilion has hosted many top notch entertainment choices throughout the years. Black Sabbath, Madonna, Bon Jovi, Green Day, Phish, WWE, and in 2016 The Cure will perform. With concert seating capacity of about 9,500 the UIC pavilion is just the right size to bring in big named acts while staying at an enjoyable size. The UIC pavilion has easy access via public transportation. Since opening in 1982 the UIC pavilion has sold out many events and with its good location and great line-ups its easy to see how.
